Biography

Dan Peck is a Professional Building Designer and the owner of Building & Design Technologies. He has worked in the building and design technologies field since 1989 as an architectural designer, construction estimator, architectural illustrator and 3D visualization professional. He works closely with project owners/developers, designers and contractors regarding their building and design needs.

Dan recognized a need for and developed a unique Virtual Design Construction system using CAD technologies in order to produce quick and accurate models that result in a set of architectural drawings and a bill of materials for the estimate. He has integrated building design, parametric construction estimating, CAD, architectural illustrating and 3D modeling into a unique package called Virtual Design Construction.

Dan graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University earning his BS in Business and Building Design in 1982 and was awarded The Wall Street Journal Academic Student Achievement Award. He graduated with High Distinction from Phoenix College earning an AA in 1980. Dan holds an academic Certification in Computer Graphic Architecture from Glendale College. He holds certifications from the Autodesk Training Center in AutoCAD 2000, 3D Studio VIZ and AutoLISP Programming. Dan is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Golden Key and the Phi Theta Kappa honor societies.

Dan holds a Professional Building Design designation form the American Institute of Building Design and is a member of American Society of Architectural Illustrators.
