Building & Design Technologies was founded 1989 as a consulting firm specializing in building & design CAD, construction parametric CAD estimating, specifying, architectural illustrations and 3D modeling.

      Our unique technique of Virtual Design Construction is enhanced by using heads up digitizing within AutoCAD software as the standard for accuracy and consistency. The plans are scanned to a TIFF, allowing us to archive the drawings and return the plans to the customer quickly. We have developed a set of AutoLISP routines, blocks and attributes unique to our business that extract data and build a quick and accurate bill of materials. AutoCAD 2002 is employed to create architectural plans and Autodesk VIZ 4 is used to create photo-realistic renderings, animations and models.
